Early Life
Born in Spain, Francis Xavier studied at the University of Paris, where he met St. Ignatius of Loyola and helped found the Society of Jesus (Jesuits).
Missionary Journeys
He traveled to India, Southeast Asia, and Japan, preaching the Gospel and baptizing thousands. He is credited with bringing Christianity to many parts of Asia.
Legacy
St. Francis Xavier is one of the greatest missionaries in Church history, known for his zeal, miracles, and tireless work for souls.
